Having my music as the theme music in a TV program is always fun, this time in the program Antikmagasinet. After receiving several emails where people have specifically been touched by the music, it’s time to say something about it.

The song used is called Hangtrons and was a song I wrote around 2010 for the music library Epidemic Sound, when Epidemic was still quite new and had started to establish itself among Swedish production companies. Today, they are an international industry giant that distributes music to a large number of users and companies.

Antikmagasinet is a Swedish TV series that airs on SVT and is about antiques and antique trading. The program is led by expert and antique dealer Karin Laserow, who, along with her team of experts and restorers, helps ordinary people value and sell their antiques, or renovate and restore old objects to their original condition.

In each episode, Karin Laserow visits different places around Sweden to meet people who own antiques and who need help valuing and selling them. The program also gives viewers tips and advice on antiques and antique trading, as well as interesting stories about old objects and their origins.

Antikmagasinet has become very popular in Sweden and has aired for several seasons since its premiere in 2006. The program has also inspired many people to become more interested in antiques and to start collecting and caring for old objects themselves.
